Fall is Definitely Here

As you can probably tell, I have made it a goal of mine to blog at least once a month.
So far, So good!

Today is the very first day of Fall.
WOW
Where has this year gone?
I feel like every year goes by faster than the last...
I can always tell it's fall because things seem to speed up even quicker.
Everything always seem to somehow happen all at once, and it won't stop there, then the holidays come and before we have even blinked an eye, the new year has started!
Lets prepare ourselves for the wild ride!

A lot has happened in this one month,

WE BOUGHT A HOUSE!
Yep, we got our dream home.. we are living in it right now.
We are going on 3 weeks and are just about finished unpacking,
we only have the master bedroom left! hooray!
We are in total love.
I don't think we could even explain how amazing it is to have a place that is absolutely, 100% your's.
We have not one thing on our walls yet... I feel like it's going to take years to fill this place up and decorate it! ahhh. Still so much to do! :)

Ready for the Reveal?

This is about as much as you'll get out of us right now! I want to do "Room Reveals" as they get finished!

It's been feeling like fall since the end of August, so I thought, I'd prepare the outside of the house with some amazing fall colors.

I only wish these lasted longer.. We had some insane storms roll through.
What felt like 2 full weeks of non-stop rain and thunderstorms.
The wind was blowing so hard that my sweet flowers died, right after.
BOO. So sad.

Lia Started dance class the first Wednesday of September, on the 4th.
She is loves it.
She is in ballet and tap and she is great at practicing at home and showing off how much she loves it.
Nevermind that Wednesday's, she refuses to take off her dance clothes. Insisting on even trying to wear them to bed that night.

Her sass only makes it that much better to watch!

However, not sure if I previously mentioned her INSANE, complete obsession with horses?
Yeah, its beyond control. Even willing to try to push kids off of the horse at the Children's Museum, kind of crazy..
Needless to say, we will feed into that and start her in horseback riding here shortly.

I feel like my little buggy has become a teenager. She's so incredibly independent.
It makes me so sad sometimes. She no longer needs help with going potty, even wiping (most days), washing her hands, brushing her teeth. Heck, half the time she will have just put herself down for a nap.
Her politeness is just pure sweetness. It melts us all. Her constant "please" and "thank you".
Her all of a sudden grown up way of speaking, just one day decided she would start saying sentence after sentence. She's only steps away from telling us stories! I can't wait for those gems!
My crazy, giant kid is growing up. It's so exciting, yet a little bittersweet, if I'm honest.

OH!!! Before I completely forget to document this,
Girlfriend FAKES SICK. ummm Seriously kid?
Fake cough, followed by "I sickkkk, I sickk mommy". followed by another fake cough.
Where in the world do they learn that stuff?

I often catch Lia living in her dream world, acting things out with her horses or dolls and reading stories.
Everyone said, "oh terrible two's", well her terrible two's have been not so terrible.
She's a dream child. I say that honestly. Yes, she has her tantrums about dumb things like not getting a tootsie roll, or having a fight, cuz she's in that "everything is mine" stage.
But she loves to do chores, and help out whenever she can.
can't stand to see anyone sad.
absolutely LOVES babies.
"awwwe coot baby mommy, look!"
She knows when enough is enough and she needs to listen to her mom.
(still working on that with dad. Mom's kind of the boss *wink*)
She is so gentle and kind.
I was feeling so sick the other day and she just took care of me.
Yes, my little, almost 3 year old took care her mom.
She kept telling me to go to sleep, she'd take herself to go potty, or get a snack.
she'd fill up her cup from the tap in the bathroom (she has her little stool, she's so proud of it) and bring it to me. it was a "refreshing" sip of warm water. mmmm!

what a sweet child.
Speaking of sweet! I'm an AUNTIE again!

This is baby Brooklynn, She is so sweet and so unbelievably gorgeous.
I'm so in love with her.
She was born at 11:26pm September 19th. at 7 lbs 2.3 oz and 19.5 inches.
all sweetness. truly.
I'm so so happy for my sister-in-law, Sarah and my big brother, Cody, not to mention her big sister, Taylor!

I told you, a busy month! Sorry for the long post!
Prepare for another one this week, as it will be..... (drumroll please)
ROBBIE'S AND MINE ONE YEAR WEDDING ANNIVERSARY!!!!
oh my heck, yes it is true.
This Saturday, Sept 28th marks our 1year.
How crazy.
Going on six years togther. How amazing.

Thanks so much for reading! Have a safe work week!
