Life is looking up

We are closer than ever to moving into our very own home.
We could close on it any day now, it's just seeming a bit difficult to keep a specific closing date.
Hopefully it happens soon because we are really becoming restless.

Gosh, I can't tell you how much we love this home.

I'll tell you about it, for the sake of, I just want to talk about it (haha).

It's a new build, "spec home", if you don't know what that is, it's a home that a builder designs and puts up for a quick move in to get people into living in the neighborhood.

It's a 2-story craftsman style home, with blue-gray siding and bone white trim.
It has a cozy front porch, I'm just dying to decorate it for fall.
(yes, I am really planning for fall, I'd like it here now please!)

There is gorgeous hardwood thoughout the main floor, it has a massive kitchen with super dark cabinets, a beautiful and long island that I can't wait to cook in.

We were blessed to get a 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bathroom home, with a basement that would potentially have a living room (Man Cave as Robbie has called it), one bedroom and a full bathroom and 2 storage rooms.

What a dream home this is! I can see us living here for a very long time! How could we ever leave?

We've been busy just living our normal lives.

Robbie's really grown to love working for Comcast, even though he works much later than we've been used to.

Here are some pictures of the last few weeks.

My work gave me Bee's Game tickets for the 24th of July
for all my overtime worked since May!

Our sweet friends from Arizona came to Salt Lake for a vist.

Had fun playing at the beach in DayBreak

Chopped close to 16 inches off my hair!

Got to see some great friends get engaged at the Bee's Game.

Went to the zoo and explored all of the animals.
Lia was surprisingly in love with the "rhiioohs" (rhinos).

Lia is just such a peach. Sweetest little girl that ever lived.

The past 3 months have been pretty hectic, especially with as much overtime as I have had to work, I've really missed getting to see her as much as I usually do..

Early this morning, I got home from work about 5:30am.
I went into Lia's room like I always do to make sure she was still cozy, give her a kiss and say love you. This time was a little bit different. I went in there, Lia woke up just a little bit when I retucked her in and gave her a kiss, I noticed her sweet smile...
All I hear is this sweet and tiny whisper that says, "I luhh you mommy"
I think I melted away after that. I will never forget that sweet moment between us. I gave her another kiss and whisper "mommy loves you too, goodnight".

I wonder how we made such a tender little girl.. I guess we will never know, but we are dang lucky to have her in our life. She is one special gem.

Goodnight Everybody!
