Valentine's day was wonderful!!
I love Vday so much. I always deck out the house for it. I just love being able to have one day out of the year that is just to celebrate everyone you love.
Unfortunately, I had to work all day but Robbie got to spend it with our little princess.
Lia woke up to a little gift from Cupid
She was in love. Her face was priceless when she saw it.
Once I got home from work, Robbie and I exchanged our gifts and I got cooking.
I made a great dinner. It was grilled salmon, couscous stuffed artichokes and butternut squash ravioli with chocolate gelato to finish it off.
It was quiet and nice. Just what we wanted.
I can't believe how busy and exhausted I have been.
I've worked full time before with Lia but never having the need for daycare at all.
I swear my life is on full force... fast forward.
I wake up at 6 get myself ready, take Hudson out, feed Hudson, wake Lia up, get her in the bath and ready, make my smoothie (that's my morning must-have), take Hudson out one last time, put him in his kennel, get Lia in the car and we are off to day care, then be at work by 8:30am.
I feel like I am non-stop running around. It is honestly exhausting.
I am not complaining at all, I absolutely love my job and everyone I work with.
This morning routine, however, I still need to adjust to!! I can't wait to just start my graveyard shifts!!
Life is so hectic. I find that I am reminding myself daily to slow down.
WAY easier said than done!!
I'll get there!!
IN OTHER NEWS: We put in our application for a home loan! That is beyond exciting! We are bursting out the seems of this tiny apartment of ours!!
Have a great week everyone!
do you leave your dog in the kennel all day?
ReplyDeleteYes, we do have days where he is in his kennel for part of the day.
