quick post

i just wanted to do a quick post about little miss lia.

we had her doctors appointment on wednesday... which, you all know i was worried about.

well...

its all mostly great news.. and a little bad news.

good news first..

well, lia has gained ALMOST 2 pounds.

23 lbs 12 oz.................45 percentile

(first time ever being over 25%)

35 inches tall.................97 percentile

she is growing great... according to her doctore ;)

now for the bad news.

well, remember how i was saying i was worried and frustrated because she refused to eat?

yeah... that was our fault, i guess.

no one told us that your child is only supposed to have no more than 20 ounces of ANY calorie drink PER DAY!!

she drinks like triple that with milk!

oh dear....

so the reason she has not been eating is because she has been drinking all of her calories all day.

so now we have to wean her off of her cup (apparently she is too old for)

and only give her one, maybe two of her cups of milk or any other drink...

that will be tough.

that little lady is obsessed with milk.

since then, lia has been putting up quite the fight. it is the absolute worst.

i hate it so much!! i wish i could just give into what she wants.

i hate seeing her so upset over something so simple as wanting milk over water.

but we want her to eat food, so, you do what you have to do.

so far we have seen a good improvement in her eating!

IM BEYOND THRILLED.

i've decided to not worry about any more potty training until she's turned two.

we will still teach her about it... but we aren't going to really crack down on it until then.

as long as she is potty trained by 2 years and 9 months, on the date!!

that's when she will be accepted into her private school, preschool (challenger)

that will be here before we know it.

well, just wanted to update everyone on how she was doing.
