i keep kicking myself for not blogging more...

now that my computer is broken... (yeah.. so awesome, right?) i haven't been able to since robbie has his computer with him most of the time.

i find myself getting busier and busier every single week that goes by. unfortunately i don't ever do anything to stop it.. i guess it can be a curse to just "go with the flow" all of the time. haha

here's what we've been up to since the last post..

it's summer break.. so hailey has been our nanny so i can work more hours. horray! robbie was out of town this last week in San Fransisco with his dad and brother, corbin to watch the US Open.. i know.. lucky, right? well, hailey basically lived at our apartment for the week so we wouldn't be alone. so we had lots of dates and had a blast. gelato... what a guilty pleasure of mine!!

robbie, rob and corb all had the best time in california... to say the very least.

i mean... robbie has not stopped talking about it.

all he wants to do is go golfing and practice everything that he saw the pros do...

hahaha i have to say, it's rather cute.

we all know robbie... you never get too much emotion or excitement for anything out of him..

but man... he was in heaven..

he needed this trip. all though he was away from lia and i.. and he missed us.. that's for sure..

i was the one having the hard time!

what's up with that? i must have insane separation anxiety because i do not to well with being separated from robbie or lia. crazy me! haha

robbie's back to softball games! we actually made it to one game!! it was great to be there with him..

however... i wish i could have watched him!

i was way too dang busy chasing after little miss lia.

man, that girl never stops... never!!!!

robbie has tournaments all this week and weekend so wish him luck ;)

why yes.. this is her very own jamba smoothie. i spoil her.. oops!

well... this little girl of mine gets sassier by the minute.

wow.

she is such a little city girl. that's for sure.

she's as girly as they come. you should have seen her yesterday..

i got her all dressed up for church so she could go with grandma while i went to work...

yep.. this is how she was.. just a peach. she ran to the mirror to look at herself.

she just started dancing and spinning and looking down at her dress and playing with the flower.

haha she knew she looked adorable.

although she is a miss sass.... look at this face...

she has obviously outgrown me... she is officially TOO COOL for her momma.

breaking my heart.

she is quite the little helper though!

she gets very upset with me if we don't let her do the sweeping.

she knows that no one can do as good as she can. hahaha

we did try something out though....

while daddy was away... mommy wanted to try and focus on something to see how it would go..

a test run, if you will.

who knew that sitting on a toilet would be so damn cute.

oh you should have seen her little tush in those panties... way to cute for words.

she did OK.. she peed in there twice... it was mostly accidents and pull ups don't work..

just FYI.

we tried for a couple of days... she knew what i was talking about when i said, "lets go potty"

she'd run to her little potty and try to pull down her panties.

but i came to the conclusion.. she has no idea how to  control her body..

obviously.. like i thought in the first place.

i want her talking more before i try again.

i felt like i was sort of forcing her when she wouldn't want to sit on the potty..

i don't want her to think of it as a bad thing..

so i totally stopped. back to diapers i went.

that's probably confusing for her but that's ok. she will have completely forgotten about the potty by the time i bring it back up to her. i'll probably try in about 4 months or so.. she'll be 20 months which i'm sure is perfect.

we celebrated kenlee and lexi's birthdays a week or so back..

i die of this cuteness every time. they are just too cute.

so far this summer has been busy as ever.. trying to make time with the family.. lia is quite the little swimmer... which is no surprise there!

she knows exactly what to do.. and all i have to say about that is THOMPSON.

Father's day was unproductive.... i wish i could have spent time with robbie... other than the hour after i got off work from my double. 12+ hour shifts are never fun. but he got to spend the day (after he got off of work) with lia which i know he loved since he missed her all week.

as for me... well.. i continue to be my feisty self.. adding more and more to my plate. haha

this wedding planning deal is way more than i anticipated but its fun to explore and figure things out.

hailee's baby shower is this saturday so i'll be going nuts this week, finishing up all of the details.

right now i'm freaking out trying to find 40 chairs.. since my original plans fell through.

oh the joys and responsibilities of throwing parties!!

i'll definitely post about all of that cuteness for sure!
