update on lia

lia has become quite the sophisticated eater!! she doesn't really eat a ton of babyfood anymore. majority of what she eats, is food that i make for robbie and i. i can't believe she is not really picky at all!! i'm so proud of her!! i got her to like carrots but right now she is hating squash. some of her favorites...
rolled oats with bananas and cinnamon.
cheesy broccoli
all yogurts
cottage cheese
any kind of fish....
she has tried halibut, salmon and trout. loves them all.
all soup...
meatball soup
sweet potato and rosemary soup
chicken noodle...just to name a few.
meatloaf
SHE LOVES BBQ. can you believe that. ribs, brisket, chicken.
i could probably go on forever on everything she loves but she honestly eats everything and loves it!! it's actually pretty flattering that she loves my cooking so much. i always hear horror stories on kids being so picky that the parents have to make seperate meals for them at dinner time. can you imagine? almost every meal you make, they hate?! how awful!! i don't know what we did to become so lucky to get such a great child and eater, but i'm very grateful!!

lia loves to be in the kitchen with me when i cook. she's always climbing up me to see what i have and she likes to help me.... i mostly just have her help me stir right now. i can't wait for the day that she can cook with me all the time for any meal!! she's my little, dainty girl, so she needs to know her way around the kitchen!!

so lia can stand pretty much forever by herself, but she seems to get scared when she tries to walk without someone holding her hand. almost like she knows she might fall down or something. she can walk if you just hold one of her hands and have her walk next to you. she could totally walk if she wanted to, i just don't think she realizes yet that she can do it alone!!


 lia absolutely loves movies. she loves shrek the most!! how funny is that?! it's so nice.. we just put her in her playpin and she will just stand against the edge and watch it, for literally the whole movie. she'll just dance and talk to it. hahaha. perfect child... i already know!!
