tomorrow lia will be 7 and a half months. can you believe this?
in almost 4 months, lia will be a year old. a toddler? are you kidding?
robbie and i have been going crazy over this. it's hard to be upset about her growing up and learning more things, but we still feel a little bit sad that we won't have her as a baby for much longer. we're trying to prepare ourself for her getting older.
it has become very apparent to us that since she is such a great, active baby that she could possibly be an awful toddler.
she already will yell when she doesn't get her way or if she hears no.
(that has to be a 'girl thing')
she has such a funny crawl. i love watching her.
i figured out that she is saying "hi"

so her whole bottle situation... she is one stubborn little girl.
she thinks she is so big.
depending on what she feels like, she will only drink her formula from her sippy cup or sometimes she will drink it from her bottle. we really just have to switch it up. lately she will drink it from her bottle if we go rock her in her glider chair, in her room, all alone with lights off and everything after she just wakes up from her sleep.
she has three naps a day. sometimes 2, if she wakes up late after 10 or so that morning.
we just started her on eating stage 3 foods. she loves cinnamon raisen granola and oats, or banana and oats. we bought her some jars from the store, we love to get the protien meals from there and then i will make the rest. i've made her protien ones and i just think its gross to puree meat so i decided no more of that. haha
LIA HATES CARROTS.
who hates carrots? out of everything i have made for her, carrots are the one thing she doesn't like? she will eat them, but she gives this disgusted face. she doesn't even like jar carrots. however, i am still working on them. haha. she will have them when it's mixed with things like spinach or peas or garlic mashed potatoes. i will get her to like them alone eventually.
guess what, we are going to put her crib down tonight.
she has figured out how to pull herself up to a standing.
oh boy.
she's going to be walking soon. oh no!!
this tiny little girl, walking? as cute as it will be when she does start to walk, she will be a terror, especially when she learns to run. oh goodness.
i'm still waiting for her to get chubby. she's got some cheeks and a roll on each leg but that's it. she's just tall.
she still wears all of her 3-6 month clothes, unless they are long sleeved, but the pants and everything still fit perfectly. not tight at all. she can fit in a few of her 6-12 month outfits but they are pretty big.
ok. i have to say it. she is soo smart. she can find anything. if she sees that we move our cell phones or hide cords or just anything. she knows where it is and she will go get it.

she still loves to hide from us. she finds it a hoot.
