From the looks of this picure, this is about how exciting our life has been.
Just living in the usual.
We've gone grocery shopping, we've read some stories, we've even managed to squeeze in some time to watch Christmas movies as a family.

Not so exciting right?

Sorry! Wish I had better news for you :)

Lets chat about Halloween....

I bet you are wondering why she isn't wearing her original costume (seen in a previous post)
Funny story.....

SHE HATED IT

Practically destroyed it the second I put it on her Halloween night.
I'm talking full blown, worst tantrum she's ever had.

Kicking, screaming, yelling about how much she "no like it" as she's trying to wrip it to shreds.
even somehow managed to throw her tooth brush (with the toothpaste on it) ever so nicely into the toilet. It was just so lovely.

Since Halloween is just for fun, I decided to give into the devil of a child and let her wear her very favorite pink ballerina outfit and shoes. Thank goodness I had a crown lying around just to top off the look. She got some glittery make-up on and some lipstick. Happy Camper right there.

My mom came over and got to snuggle her for a bit and take some pictures :)
We had zero trick or treaters so we decided to head over to to my mother in law's for some dinner and trick or treating.
*don't worry though, we left our cauldron full of candy on our porch for anyone that wanted to stop by*

Lia's dance class for Halloween

Lia wasn't so much into the trick or treating until she figured out how easy it was for her to get a bunch of candy just handed to her without saying "please".

sadly I took down all the fun decorations we had up and am now getting ready to host our first dinner over at the house for Thanksgiving.

I'm really excited. I have a feeling this one will be one to remember and be pretty special for sure!
How could it not be, it will be held at our first house, I get to cook everything from scratch, come up with a menu and we get to eat family style at a big table (hopefully, still trying to find one more banquet table as long as the one i already have!)  and we all get to laugh and just have a great time as a family.
My favorite holiday EVER.

Lia is already so excited for Christmas. She helped us pick out some of the new ornaments for our tree and said "oooh it's jus prettttyful". haha

Happy Sunday, enjoy your week everyone!
