Lia is 2!

I know what you're thinking, "Lia is two? No way, that went by way too fast!"
Well, it's true.
She really is two.
I am just in complete shock.

How do I have a two year old.
Lia is no longer a baby.
I love that she is growing up and just getting cuter and cuter.
On the other hand,
She's a big girl.
She'll be potty trained soon,
She lost her crib today...
Yep, in a big girl bed now (she even took a nap in it today!)!

Now what?
The next milestones I get to look forward to are her writing, talking more, reading..
All are for big kids only!!
I JUST WANT MY BABY!!
Yes, I'm whining.
I hold Ellie and and I hold Isabella and their sweet newborn smiles, remind me of Lia as a tiny thing and how we would just stare at her for hours and hours.

NOW WHAT?!
I have this giant little girl that refuses to stop growing.
Call me a selfish mom, but STOP IT LIA!!
As much as it kills me, I know I have to allow her to grow up and become a big kid.
Man, does that suck.

Here are some pictures of her little family birthday party..
I didn't make a fuss about this party at all. I decided a little winter theme
threw some snowlfakes on the wall, put together some cute favors of gloves in a mason jar,
and made some of Lia's favorite foods (totally forgetting her #1, FRIES, shoot!)

Couldn't contain her happiness. She loves all of her new toys.

one of our favorite moments today, blowing out her own candles.
it was so sweet.

Birthday girl snuggling with daddy

she was so excited she wouldn't stop moving. so this is the best I could do,
Her auntie Kenlee did her hair!! So precious.

The party was at our apartment, it was nice to hold it there. It sure was crowded but it was still nice!
It's always nice to spend time with the family in your own home!!

Poor Lia woke up with a cold today though. Nothing is worse than being sick, especially on your birthday.

Lia got more than spoiled today! I think her birthday turned out perfect!
Thank you all again to those that came and showed your love for Lia!!

I hope everyone has a GREAT Christmas!
