Lia is just getting bigger every second. She is beginning to use her words (so happy about that) and learns new words daily.
She will be TWO, count it, TWO next Saturday.
That has to be a joke, right?
There's no way that she can be two already?!
Well, its no joke!
She is that big!!! I can't believe it.
Lia has been showing a lot of signs that she is ready to be potty trained:
hating her diaper and taking it off constantly, sitting on the potty with her diaper to pee, handing me her a new diaper when she's "dirty".
So, I sucked it up and we began potty training on Monday.
I thought, ok this might be a walk in the park, she'll probably teach herself.
Man, was I wrong.
Monday and Tuesday I wanted to crawl into a dark hole and stay there until Lia miraculously became potty trained.
I have no idea what I'm doing and I am always just trying to stop myself from getting frustrated.
This potty stuff is hard, and she is learning so great.
I just need to remember to be patient
Dramatic I know. But, Hey, just being truthful.
Today was a million times better.
Lia went number two all by herself.
She was walking around for a minute, holding her bum, I could tell she was trying to figure out what to do and what was happening.
She sat on her potty twice during that time before she "let it go"!
I was screaming in joy!! She is said "sawwwweeee (sorry)"
I gave her a big hug and kiss, and told her she did great!!
I gave her two pennies and she was jumping for joy!!
That was the moment I realized, there is no turning back now!
I have done a tiny bit of Christmas shopping. Just a coupe things from Lia to daddy (pictured above, she had to help me write it all out!) and a couple of things to Lia.
This weekend, Lia will get to see Santa with her cousin baby Ellie and we are going to knock out ALL of the Christmas shopping, so wish us luck!
So, I didn't get that job, it just wasn't meant to be. There were issues preventing me from getting hired and unfortunately there was nothing we could do to fix that.
So the search continues.
I have faith something great will come along!! I will be saying some prayers!
Until then, I will just enjoy the time I get to spend uninterrupted with Lia and Robbie!
Here's some exciting news, Our little trio is in the search of a new home!! This time we want to buy!!
We have been searching and searching!
Last year we found a community that we LOVE!
Like our dream home!
They are all townhomes, which is what we want right now,
but they are beautiful.
Anyway, we walked through one yesterday and just fell even more in love,
unfortunately, they were already all sold out in 2 communities but just about to start building a new one right by where we live now!! Oh my word, I can't contain my excitement.
I hope we are able to go through with one of those homes!
I leave you with this adorable face!
Have a great week everybody!
