We Got Married!!

I am finally a Thompson!
After 4 years of being together and about two years of living together, we finally got married.
Whew, what a relief!
I'd like to pretend that I stayed calm during the days leading up to the wedding or staying calm the entire day of the wedding, I'd totally be lying.
Even though we have been together so long and getting married wouldn't really change anything in our life but make it official on the legal aspect of it, I have been a mess.
That's putting it nicely.
Wednesday was the worst though.
Late Tuesday night, I was working and everyone was talking to me about it, then it hit me, we are really getting married, and SO soon too.
I started feeling nauseous and like I would throw up or something.
I woke up Wednesday feeling that same way, as the day went on, it progressivly got worse.
By the time 4pm rolled around, I was having an emotional breakdown.
Did I mention this was all at work?
So great, right?
Well, while I was at my tables, I was completely fine but as soon as a coworker or when I was alone, I would just cry.
Cry and cry and cry.
Complete and unmistakeable meltdown.
I still don't know why exactly I was freaking out.
I just blame it on nerves and stress.
It was just so awful.
I wish I could explain my feelings I had on our wedding day. It was nothing like, Wednesday.
It was just a feeling of crazy nerves. Talking a ton about absolutely nothing.
I feel bad for everyone that had to deal with it.

Lets talk about the wedding day now....

Robbie surprised me with a new car!!
What?!
I know, it's so crazy!!
We went to the dealership to sign papers early Friday morning.
Best present ever!! I have to say.
The car is amazing to say the least.

It's a Lexus RX330.
It's a navy blue beauty.
Honestly, the finance guy was telling us that you couldn't find this car, in this color, in this year, this clean, with this low of miles in the entire country.
It's the best car ever. We are seriously obsessed.

I got back to the house and my friend was there to do my hair and make up and Ambree, my maid of honor/best friend, followed in shortly with her fiance, Jared. (yes they are engaged!! I know, so exciting!!)
Jared made my bouquet for me! I loved it! It was so pretty.
We got to Wheeler Farm for the ceremony. It started a bit late, but that's fine! We made it work.
Everyone made a little aisle and I walked down with my dad on my left and Lia on my right.
I got to the aisle to a nervous Robbie.
I'm thinking "FINALLY! I get to see some nerves coming from him!"
The officiant started and Robbie and I just held hands for and looked at eachother.
Casually getting interupted by Lia.
We repeated vows, exchanged rings, got pronounced husband and wife,
WE KISSED.
This was definitely how this was meant to be.
It was so simple, chill, so perfect.
I'd never trade this for that big day I was originally planning.

We all took a bunch of pictures and met up at Biaggi's at the Gateway mall downtown.
It's always been one of my favorites.
We had a private room which was nice, so Lia could roam and socialize.

Dawn, my mother in law, threw us an open house, after party for everyone to come celebrate with us.
It turned out great!!
There was a margarita station and everything. Genius idea, really.
Robbie and I hardly saw eachother all night.
hahaha I guess we are a different kind of newlywed!!
Most don't leave eachother's side!
Robbie was enjoying having all of his friends in one spot and well, I did what I always do, mingle.
I talked to everyone! Casually stealing everyone's babies.
I wish I could have talked to some people more, but when everyone is trying to talk to you, that gets a little hard.

Our wedding day/night was so perfect.
We could not have asked for anything more.
Robbie and I were exhausted by the time the night came to an end.

Thank you to everyone that came and for always supporting us.
We are so excited for this new chapter in our lives and can't wait to see what life brings.
Thank you all so much again!!
