WE'RE ENGAGED!!!!

it's official!!

we are getting married next year in May

yay!!!

i guess i should probably tell the story of how it happened.

we went to midway thursday night, right after i got off of work!

we get to our hotel, find our room

view from the room

and go down to the hotel bistro for dinner.

we ate, i cried.. i was missing lia.

i know.. totally pathetic.

anyway,

we finish our dinner and robbie wanted to go for a walk and see the ponds that we could see from our room.

we get to the gazebo and he turns the light on

(yeah i thought it was weird that he knew where the gazebo light switch was)

i walk immediately over where it over looks the pond, i wanted to see if there were fish in there.

see that corner to the right by the bush.. that's where all this happened ;)

robbie came up behind me and just hugs me for a minute and we just talk for a second

then the next thing i know,

he's on his knee with the ring asking me if i will marry him.

i'm in total shock and i start bawling saying over and over

"are you serious?! are you serious?! this is really happening?!"

he stands up and says "so is that a yes then?"

can you believe that? i forgot to say yes.

wow.

embarrasing!!

i say yes and i kissed him like a million and one times and hugging him.

the ring is totally gorgeous.

so sparkly..

everything i wanted!!

i immediately had to take a picture so i hand robbie my phone to take one

and i literally still had crocodile tears rolling down my face and he's like, no. we will wait a minute.

we took a picture together th is time.. (the one above) i was still puffy eyed and ugly

but i had to capture that moment.

the first thing i did was call my mom and then my very best friend ambree.. who will be the maid of honor :)

i was probably crying for a good 20 minutes.

let me clarify one thing... i am not a cry baby.

it takes a lot to make me cry.

jeez i don't know what got into me!

but we just spent the rest of the night telling everyone!

FRIDAY

we woke up and had breakfast at the hotel bakery... delish

we went back up to the room and got ready for shopping in park city!!

we went crazy shopping!!

it was so beautiful there. we haven't been to park city for years..

such a great getaway.

My Birthday

i had such a nice birthday!

robbie brought me my favorite breakfast, which is a parfait..



delish..

we were going to go to the zoo but the weather had different plans!!

we had zupas for lunch.. another favorite of mine.

i went to the dmv for my new license.

i was excited for my new license.

i went to dinner with my mom to olive garden

i had to have some sort of funky drink on my bday!!

i got home and the weather was perf, so i had robbie, lia and i go on a walk around day break lake right before sunset!!
