back to real life

last week, as you all know, we went to arizona.

what is it about even the smallest of vacations that make you feel so refreshed and relaxed?

maybe because you don't have nearly as much to worry about? well whatever it is... it's bittersweet to be home now.

we left late wednesday night, right after i got off of work and we stayed until sunday.

thursday we just stayed and played inside, i baked some amazing muffins and we went to costco.

friday, i went for a run/hike by myself. very relaxing and we went to the outlet stores in anthem and i got a work outfit and some flats and some amazing sneakers, nike frees. best shoes in the world.

saturday we played outside for a while, robbie went out to THE sports bar with his uncle and grandpa and went to a car show :)

Sunday was a lazy day, just waiting around til we had to fly out.

well we were supposed to fly out at 5:45 but we missed that flight :( dang. luckily we got to fly out on the 9 o'clock flight.

lia was a gem the whole trip. she was giving everyone and the dogs lots of loves.

she napped great but man nights were rough.

lia never wakes up at home during the night. never. only if she is sick.

well she woke up at 3am. almost on the dot every day from thursday night on.

there is a reason why i never had her sleep in our bed with us. it's awful awful.

she slept with us in our bed each night for like an hour, tops. then i put her back in bed. she tosses and turns everywhere. she would have her feet in my face one minute and the next she has her head lying on robbie's back. haha it was ridiculous.

but she is back to her schedule now and doesn't need us to sleep. i was scared about that.

now the flight to arizona wasn't too bad... much much better than the first couple of flights... but the flight back to salt lake.... well it was amazing. lia just sat on daddy's lap while we took off and we put on shrek, she ate some goldfish... man she was set.

the trip was super laid back.. and we loved every second of it.

it sucks  to have to come back to real life.. working and such!! but we'll be back down there soon :)
