you will notice there is something all of these pictures have in common...
lia has a favorite blankie. its handmade, blue with one side of lady bugs and red trim. a good friend of mine gave it to me at my baby shower.
it's not softer or more colorful than any other blanket but she chose this one as her favorite!
she squeels every time she sees it
gets jealous if any one has it besides her
if she doesn't go to bed with it, she will wake up numerous times, looking for it
she will grab it once she wakes up, so you don't leave her without it.
she rolls herself around in it
cuddles with it a thousand times a day.. rubbing her face in it, hugging it.
she absolutely loves this blanket!!
i can't even wash it while she's awake, i have to take it out of her crib while she's sleeping and have it back by the time she wakes up.
i feel terrible if she can't have the one thing that comforts her!
i took away her binky so all that is left is her little, blue ladybug blanket.

this blanket will be with her until she gives it to her children... if it can last that long! ;)
