lia and i had such a fun playdate wednesday afternoon at our apartment with good friends, ashley wagner and her baby boy brixton (2) and sheridan byington and her baby girl braelyn (13mo). even though lia was the youngest, she kept up with the running toddlers. she was playing with them. letting them feed her. i made a super delicious lunch for the girls and the kids. i made us chicken apricot melt and sweet potato fries and grilled cheese and fries for the little ones. this was the first time i had made up this crazy sandwich, so i'm really happy it turned out amazing. i made it again for robbie to try once he got home from work. he loved it too!! i'm so glad to have people that trust me so much to try the food i make, no matter how weird it would be. anyhow. i loved having a playdate. honestly, it is awesome to watch the kids socialize and you get to be a mom with other moms (if that makes any sense.) it's almost a whole new world. i love it.
