10 years ago. on this day.

a tragedy struck america.

we all remember exactly what we were doing when the towers were hit

we all remember what we were feeling

and we all remember watching the entire country go silent

i was in 5th grade, i had the day off of school.

i woke up to hearing my mom crying.

i was only 10.

i remember being confused.

hugging my mom.

wanting to know why everything was happening.

thank you to our the fire department and all of those who helped save lives that day.

thank you to our troops for fighting for our country every day to make our world a better place.

may god watch over all of the families and friends who lost a friend, a cousin, a mom, dad, brother, sister, husband, or wife and everyone in between.

may we never forget.
