pleased to announce Lia has 'officially' said her first word!!

DADA

it started out with saying "da da da da da" or "gi gi da" for about the past week

but now it is just "dada" and i'm pretty sure she even knows what/who it means :)

she has always been very talkative so it's not much of a surprise that she said her first word really early.

this morning she

was talking in her crib so when i went in there, i opened the door and i hear "dada".

hmmm.. i hope i didn't disappoint her when i show up and not robbie.

she is very smart and seems to figure everything out very easily.

her two teeth are now in, so the screaming has stopped for the moment

she can take off her diaper. not good at all.

she now has to always have some type of clothing on so she wont take it off.

yesterday was the 24th of July (pioneer day, which for those of you that don't know what that is, it is just a Utah holiday so basically a repeat of the 4th kind of celebration) The girls (robbie's little sisters) came over the night before and we had a lot of fun.

Hailey slept over and robbie had to work, sad day... but I made delicious crepes for us for brunch. they were amazing.  then hailey did my hair and we went to pick up kenlee and off to show off lia to her great grandpa Doug from AZ.

i took all my girls to the aquarium. it was a lot of fun!!

once i took lia out of her stroller, she had a blast!!!

she was loving everything. trying to give kisses to the fishees and everything :)

i dropped the girls back home and met up with robbie at our house.

got lia changed and fed and we went to the bees game with robbie's whole family (extended also)

we had a lot of fun!

lia slept through the great fireworks display, she will have to be awake next year for them!

the day was great ;)
